Shnat Overview

During the program, participants will live and volunteer in different communities and organizations across Israel, effecting positive change in Israeli society based on Progressive and Reform Jewish values.

Shnat Netzer is a 6-10 month learning and volunteering program.

Participants will live in Jerusalem, Nitzana, in a Kibbutz and Project10 in Kibbutz Harduf, and volunteer in different organizations across Israel, effecting positive change in Israeli society based on Progressive and Reform Jewish values.

The program is recruiting our Netzer Olami Youth from several countries, to bring young adult Progressive and Reform Jews from around the world together in Israel to learn, work, live, volunteer, and experience Israel, its people, social organizations, communities, landscapes and more.

We have two session options:

Short Maslul: January – June 2024
Long Maslul: January – October 2024

The Long Maslul includes 2 months (mid-June – mid-August) as a madrich/a in Reform and Progressive Jewish summer camps in North America (through URJ) and Europe (through Netzer Olami).

Please note: Due to COVID-19, activities and schedules of the program are subject to change per the guidelines of the relevant authorities. Netzer Olami will do its best to preserve the content, aims, and spirit of the program.
