We are excited that you are considering coming on Shnat Netzer in 2025 and welcome you to our application process.
Shnat Netzer is the Reform and Progressive movement gap year Israel program that combines leadership development, personal growth and social action. As an international program that welcomes participants from Australia, United Kingdom, Europe, North America and beyond, Shnat Netzer in 2025 will broaden your horizons with new friends, new encounters, and new ways to discover Judaism and Israel.
Shnat Netzer is affiliated with the World Union for Progressive Judaism (WUPJ), the global network of Reform and Progressive Jews, and MASA Israel Journey, a leading Israel program organization supported by the Jewish Agency for Israel with the Israeli Government.
Let’s get started!
Our application has several sections:
Section 1: Personal Details & Background Information (to be completed online);
Section 2: Personal Essay (to write and upload);
Section 3: Code of Conduct (to download, sign and upload);
Section 4: Medical Examination Form (to download, complete with your doctor and upload);
Section 5: References (to download, and have your letters send back to us by email or post);
Section 6: Mental Health Policy (to download, sign and upload);
Section 7: Statement of Participation (will be sent to you via email after receiving MASA grant responses);
Section 8: MASA Registration (for program grants and scholarships; complete it here).
Please note: We recommend collecting all your information before filling out the online form. You will be able to save and return to your application. But your application will not be able to be submitted without all forms completed.
After completing the application, we will be in touch with you to set up an online interview and take things from there.
