The World Union for Progressive Judaism welcomes the release of 41 hostages since Friday and is relieved to see many of them reuniting with family and loved ones.
Our thoughts continue to be with the 200+ still in captivity in Gaza, whose fates have been uncertain for over 50 days now, among them civilians and children as young as nine months old. All hostages should be immediately and unconditionally freed.
We call on our members and those in the international community to continue highlighting their plight and demanding their release.
