The World Union was honored to host and sponsor a festive eveningr honoring the volunteers from Project Yadayim “Hands-On” on October 7, 2018 at Beit Shmuel.
The Hands-on Project assists individuals from low socioeconomic populations living in apartments that are in various states of disrepair. The Hands-On Project organizes groups of talented volunteer handymen and women to repair and renovate their apartments, working in groups of 6-10 people per project, for about 6-10 hours each month. The project budgets come from donations, and all expenses go directly to materials. To see more of their work in action, click here.
