A Note from Our Gala Chairs

Friends,

We are honored to be chairing Many Candles, One World, a virtual Chanukah Celebration and Benefit to support the World Union for Progressive Judaism (WUPJ). We hope you’ll join us for your front row seat for a celebrity-filled evening of music and tradition from around the globe.

We are so passionate about WUPJ and hope that you’ll agree to support this incredible organization that makes it possible for all Progressive Jews to practice a creative and meaningful Judaism, no matter where they choose to live.

Where your Contribution Goes – the WUPJ Education Fund for the Future

Funds raised this evening will establish a new “WUPJ Education Fund for the Future” to engage every family member, at every age, and stage of life.

The fund will provide scholarships for individuals to attend camps, schools, and training programs – all will focus on deepening the knowledge and confidence needed to create a generation of extraordinary professional and volunteer leaders to transform our communities.

How to Join Us

1. Register to let us know you’ll be tuning in!
2. Choose your level of sponsorship. There are a range of opportunities for everyone, but please give generously and remember that the World Union depends entirely on your generosity to succeed. We have no membership. All supporters will be acknowledged during the program.
3. Tune in for the premiere on December 13 at 8 PM Eastern Time or choose a time that works best for you (after 8PM EST Time).
4. Sponsor a watch party by inviting friends to join you to watch together. Register your guests (you can fill out the form on their behalf or ask them to fill it out individually).

We are delighted to be partnering with New York City’s Central Synagogue whose inclusive and welcoming community is deeply connected to so many Progressive communities around the world.

Thank you for supporting the World Union for Progressive Judaism. Your help is so important every day but especially during this critical time.

For more information, click here or reach out to either of us with questions.

All the best.

Tadd and Les
