The global Progressive/Reform Jewish community came together, transcending borders, to honor those whose lives were lost or forever changed since the tragic events of October 7th. In a profoundly moving multilingual ceremony, participants shared personal stories of grief, resilience, and hope, reflecting on how their lives have transformed over the past year.
Participants from all over the world delivered emotional messages that left a lasting impact on all in attendance. WUPJ President Rabbi Sergio Bergman shared a message of unity and courage.
Across time zones and languages, hundreds of individuals commemorated together from Israel, Russia, India, Australia, China, New Zealand, United States, Canada, UK, Europe, Argentina, Brazil, and more.
Though oceans and continents may separate us, we remain bound by our shared grief, solidarity, and unwavering commitment to the future.
