War Relief Fund: Israel & Ukraine

In light of the ongoing wars in Israel and Ukraine, the World Union for Progressive Judaism has launched the Global Emergency Fund. We call on people around the world to make donations to support Jewish communities affected by these conflicts.

Money will be spent on individuals and communities to ensure their safety and well-being. If the conflict escalates further, your money will become crucial and necessary help for many people. If the tension eases, the fund will be spent on the development of the progressive Jewish community in Ukraine.

HELP ISRAEL

Israel is facing an existential threat after recent attacks by the Iranian regime, which struck civilian areas, causing deaths, displacement, and trauma. Among those affected are members of our Progressive communities and the families of 53 hostages still held in Gaza.

The WUPJ, in partnership with the Israel Movement for Progressive Judaism, has launched the Israel Emergency Fund to provide urgent aid, including:

  • Emergency supplies and humanitarian relief

  • Temporary housing for displaced families

  • Trauma counseling and mental health care

  • Assistance for the elderly and vulnerable

  • Education and safe spaces for youth

  • Financial support for families impacted by the war
